To contribute to this anthology feels like part of my legacy; as I enter these menopausal years, adding my voice to something greater than myself is both an honor and a privilege. Truthfully, the writing was not easy - I resisted at first, realizing how much I was caught not only in the fog of menopause, but in the wider cultural fog that renders older women invisible. Sitting with that discomfort forced me to reflect on the many phases of womanhood—creatrix, giver of life—and to recognize that this journey lives within me too. Lending my voice in these pages was deeply cathartic and profoundly empowering."

"I’ve been journaling for as long as I can remember, capturing my dreams, my life, and my journey of growing up. But never did I imagine that one day I would become a co-author in a book. To my knowledge, no one in my lineage has ever written two books, so this feels like the beginning of a new legacy.

Even now, when I read back my own words, I’m in awe of the courage it took, the journey was made to easy, I was guided to find the words that were real, raw, and ME.

I am who I am today because of that courage. And it’s the same courage I now carry into the words I share with the women in my circles. My teenage daughter once said to me “Mamma your words will change the world”...and she was right!"
