Each book has a 'theme' so everyone is writing on aspects of the same topic. By the time the book is finished and fully edited, it comes together as a whole, to make it a cohesive read for the reader while making sure each authors own voice, personal story and personality is maintained.

 

Timescale

Your time commitment is one month, the month the Author Programme starts.

​

We start writing together - we have 4 x 90 minute zoom calls together, spanning 3 weeks and in that time, you'll write your chapter.

​

Each chapter is broken down into 3 sections and you'll write and deliver 1 section (typically 1 x A4 page) each week for 3 weeks.

​

After that, you'll be needed ad hoc for editing and refining your chapter, which usually takes between 2 - 4 rounds of edits before it's finished.

​

When your finished chapter is ready, you will receive a formal sign-off form, to approve it for print. Absolutely nothing gets printed without your consent and written sign-off.

​

Once we have our completed manuscript and everyone has signed off their chapter, the production stages can be done; professional proof-reading, type setting, layout, cover design and production, that will all be done for you and it generally takes around 3 months.

The Author Programme

Our authors go through a beautiful programme, spanning 22 days to write their chapter, it includes;

 

• 4 x 90-minute weekly Zoom sessions with structured guidance and concept development

• Sharing opportunities - we encourage our authors to ask questions, or shared some of their story on the calls, this creates an extremelt supportive and engaging author team. Calls are always inspirational, feel-good and informative

• The authors have their own small WhatsApp group for peer connection and encouragement (usually 5-6 people in each)

• Everyone also has direct access to Lynette via WhatsApp for personal support and guidance

• One-to-one calls available at no extra charge when needed

• Professional editorial support is included with multiple rounds of editing until your chapter is polished

• Each author has complete control over final approval - nothing published without written consent

• Everyone receives personalised marketing materials for book launch promotion and the race to Amazon No. 1 is always exciting on launch day!

• The online celebration launch event is free for authors & speakers

• All online sessions are recorded so it doesn't matter what time zone you're in, you can still take part, our authors have come from all over the world!

• We give our authors very clear, professional formatting and presentation guidelines

• Everyone is part of the worldwide launch team experience and also invited to take part in future book launches too!

• Each structured writing process is broken into manageable weekly submissions

How and Where Are the Books Published?

 

The books are all published through Amazon. It means they're on sale all around the world and are very easy to access and find on the net.

The 'Launch' and the Publicity

 

With so many authors on the writing team, we all become the publicity! Each author gets personalised material to send out to promote the big launch date, everyone is encouraged to talk on podcasts, write about the book, talk about it and invite people to the launch party- usually we have a Zoom launch party where we interview the authors etc - it's a VERY exciting time!

Investment

​

The investment is £425 GBP and that charge supports the project from inception (idea) to being on Amazon as a professional book to buy, it covers everything from the author programme, mentoring, editing, proofreading, book design etc. There are no other costs and the payment can be spread out in the preceding months before the writing programme starts.

Who Gets the Royalties?

Royalties are the monthly profits that are made from book sales and 100% of those royalties go to charity - usually Bali Street Mums which is a very small and transparent charity. Lynette has been working closely with Kim the founder of Bali Street Mums since the year 2000 and the book collaborations have raised thousands of pounds for impoverished women and children in Bali - that money goes directly to school fees, medical care, food, housing aid and education for both the mums and the children.
