A call-out...
to the women who like
the bodies they live in

Are you a woman who can look at her body
and say "I like what I see"?
then maybe you'd like to inspire
another woman to like hers.

We're writing a book about our relationship with our bodies, and we're looking for women to tell their body stories:

  • Maybe you didn't always like your body but you do now?

  • Maybe you loved it 20 years ago and have had to make friends with it as it changed?

  • Maybe you're now wearing your stretch marks, scars and cellulite proudly?

  • Maybe you want to encourage other women to love the body they live in?

Women's bodies change - it's fact...puberty, womanhood, weight loss and gain, pregnancy, grief, loss, illness, menopause, ageing, scars...all so perfectly normal, yet those changes can be difficult for us to accept.

When our bodies change, it can affect everything: our mood, our self-worth, how sexy we feel, our intimate relationships, how we dress, whether we go out or not even! The emotional and hormonal changes in us also mean that even if our bodies stay pretty much the same, we can feel totally different about them at different times of the month!

There's so much shame surrounding it all and the social conditioning for 'thin' with the many, many years of magazine cellulite-shaming and airbrushing, has left most women really unsure if their bodies are even normal.

So, we want women willing to write about their bodies - it doesn't matter what size or age you are, what matters is that you like your body, and you appreciate what it's given you.

What matters is your willingness to support another woman somewhere in the world who's struggling with hers.

If you've journeyed with your body and made friends with it, whatever your shape, size, age, culture, ethnicity or background, we'd love you to consider writing a book with us!

If you're that woman, we'd love to hear from you

We’re writing a book that gives other women permission to appreciate and like their bodies, just as you do.

We're gathering a group of women together to write our next collaboration book. Women who know that:

  • Our bodies are not a problem to be solved

  • Our stretch marks are not flaws to be hidden

  • Our scars are not something to apologise for

  • Our softness is not a failure

  • Our changing body is not a betrayal

  • Cellulite is not a confession

  • Ageing is not a decline

The body you live in has carried you through everything and it deserves to be spoken about honestly, tenderly and without shame. It deserves to be celebrated and praised!

Our bodies are to be celebrated

in ALL their glory!

We start writing together in November 2026
and we publish in Spring 2027!

What you'll write

Your chapter is written over 3 weeks

Week 1: Your story

You will write about your relationship with your body, at whatever point in your life feels most true to you right now. This might be joyful, it might be raw, it might be both. There are no rules, only your truth.

Week 2: Q&A Magazine style

Written in the style of a magazine interview, you will choose a question that resonate most with you and answer it in your own voice. This week focuses on the positive; your growth, what you learned, where you arrived.

Week 3: Your letter

You will write a letter. Who you write it to is entirely up to you. It could be to;

  • your body

  • your younger self

  • your daughter

  • another woman you've never met

  • someone who once made you feel bad about your body

  • the media even!

These 3 pieces will form your chapter.  You'll be supported, guided, and mentored throughout and receive professional editing.

First of all...we chat

The prospect of being brave enough to write your story can be daunting. So when you apply, the first step is to have a chat with Lynette. She holds the Author Programme you'll attend and helps everyone write their stories in a way that feels authentic, truthful and comfortable.

When you chat with Lynette, you'll be able to tell her your story, see if it's a good fit for the book and she will tell you exactly how the Author Programme runs.

Then you can decide if this beautiful collaboration of women's words is right for you.

No writing experience is necessary

This is our 7th book collaboration. Time and time again, our authors come back and write with us. Some have written several chapters across many of our best-sellers, but 99% started with no writing experience at all. Many hadn't written anything since high school.

This isn't about your ability to write. It's about the opportunity to write your truth, the story of how you've felt about your body. When women build the courage to write about themselves, their words help other women to understand themselves better.

Most women will tell you there's nothing special about their life stories, but we disagree, there's always a gem for another woman to find.

Years ago, we had the village fire, where women would commune together, speak about their worries, fears and upsets - the elders in the community would soothe and reassure them with stories, wise advice and remedies. Women were in community. Many of us have lost that, we live in separate families of our own, often without the support of other women.

So we think of these collaboration books as the village fire - THIS is the place we commune, and hear truth and wisdom. These books are the village and you are the community.

The impact of seeing your own words of courage, bravery, and resilience on a page is not only affirming, grounding and hugely positive, but you become the voice another woman needs to hear.

It's a win-win - for author and reader!

Plus ALL royalties for this book fund low-income women to access Sister Circles to support their healing journeys.

Writing this is your integration too...

  • To see our own story in black and white is extremely cathartic. The process of writing our own words, and articulating our own experiences is often the final missing piece to moving forwards ourselves – it's the 'underline', the recognition we give ourselves and the safe place we can keep our stories to really honour them.

  • Our words become the lifelines for the women who are struggling to accept the bodies they see in the mirror and they're a legacy for future generations. Our daughters and nieces will undoubtedly need to make friends with their changing bodies too and the fact that they can read about how you did it, will be the permission they need to do the same.

  • Writing about your body, and arriving at a place of honesty about it, is one of the most radical acts of self care a woman can do. In a world that profits from our insecurity, choosing to document your peace is a quiet but powerful form of resistance.

  • When our authors are holding the published book in their hands, reading back the words they've written, it's a beautiful surreal moment!  The story they have carried privately, sometimes for decades, has relevance, permanence and worth. Women who write with us consistently tell us that seeing their chapter in print is the moment they finally believed their own journey mattered.

  • You do not need to be fully healed, completely at peace or entirely certain of which angle to write from. We are human. We are changing. We are not perfect, so we write from that space.

  • You will go through a beautifully supportive Author Programme that will help you shape your story, plus an editorial process with Lynette Allen. All that is required of you, is that you can genuinely say you like your body and can appreciate it. Being willing to reach a hand back to the woman who is still finding her way is enough.

Author Programme...we start writing together in November 2026 (publishing Spring 2027)

We’ll all start together. You don’t have to do anything until after our first group Zoom call.

We’ll meet 4 times on Zoom (for 90 minutes) to share the details, the concept and the writing plan.

We’ll talk about what we might write about, what might be significant for the reader, and we’ll hear some of your stories to really bring this book to life. Plus you'll get to share how your beautiful morning guided meditations are making a difference to your energy.

You’ll be put into a small WhatsApp group (5 or so women in each) to avoid too much overwhelming chatter but so that you can talk to each other in confidence, ask questions and be supported.

The dates we meet on the LIVE Zoom calls are:

Thursdays 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th November 2026

10-11.30am LONDON, UK time zone

ALL CALLS ARE RECORDED

While it's wonderful (and preferred) for all our authors to attend every live call, some of our authors live in different time zones. We write with women all over the world from Australia, Asia, Europe, and America. If the calls are in the middle of the night for you, don't worry. All calls will be recorded, so you can catch up when you wake up!

The background to our amazing photoshoot and covershot!

"Every book collaboration we do starts with a photo...it's how my creative mind works...for me to really understand what we're writing, I need pictures, images, a real feel for the tone and content - I need to know who I'm inviting to write and why!
For this shoot, I knew I needed an underwear shoot - 5 women who felt good in their bodies and were basically willing to get their kit off for the afternoon! I'd spoken to my amazing photographer Dan, we had the studio, the lights, the date...
we just needed our models.

After a few minutes tapping my pen against my laptop, wondering who to ask to get their clothes off, I had it - I'd talk to Saz
(aka @Lil Miss Bumba) she wrote with me for 'The Feminine Arts', she's a dance artist and has SO many amazing women go to her dance classes - within 2 hours, Saz had agreed to do it herself and had another 4 incredible women lined up
- all local ladies, they'd all said YES! and they were all available on the day.

I had a shopping spree at Colchester's Marks & Spencer to get their gorgeous underwear, helped by Nicky - who was absolutely brilliant and very patient with my list of sizes and preferences. Come photoshoot day, we turned up to Dan's studio
with cake, music, flowers, and fizz...it was an absolute blast!

These photos were created in just an hour with Linzi, Katherine, Claire, Julie and Saz - I'm so grateful to them, I'm sure you'll agree they all look ABSOLUTELY incredible - these photos gave me exactly what I needed to give me the structure and feel for this book.

Initially, I was looking for the shots for our social media coverage and this webpage, I also knew that the front cover shot would emerge too - I was thinking it would be a close-up of a part of someone's body - but the photos were just too beautiful to choose one and anyway, how could I choose just 1 woman for the front cover? So I chose them all! That cover shot was one of the last group shots taken that day, in fact Dan had looked at me and said "I think we've done the group shots, yes?",
I told him "Let's have a few more"...and THIS beautiful photo was taken!

Each book project has so much thought, creativity and fun in it throughout the whole process, it's just a joy to be doing this and creating something of huge value for women around the world. I hope you love the photos as much as we do, and if you'd like to write for our book, please do apply, I really would love to speak to you!"
